Welcome to Conifers House School
Conifers House School is a co-educational, independent Special Educational Needs (SEN) day school for children and young people aged 5 to 16.
We offer a nurturing, therapeutic, and inclusive environment where pupils with autism, communication and interaction needs, and complex learning profiles are supported to thrive. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place.
We believe that neurodivergence is not a barrier to success, but a difference to be understood, supported, and celebrated. At Conifers House School, we have drawn upon the very best practices in SEND education and embedded them into a personalised, pupil-centred approach that is flexible, aspirational, and deeply rooted in each pupil’s unique needs and interests.
Our school is purpose-built with outstanding facilities, complemented by generous outdoor spaces, sensory rooms, and specialist areas supporting learning and wellbeing.
Our Carefully Designed Curriculum
is delivered through three flexible pathways, ensuring every pupil:
Receives a highly personalised learning journey.
Accesses embedded therapeutic support.
Experiences rich opportunities for communication, emotional regulation, independence, and life skills.
Our Values
At Conifers House School, we are proud to bring an ambitious new provision to West Sussex, shaped by best practice, compassion, and a clear vision for our pupils’ success.

These values are woven into our daily life and underpin the vibrant, caring, and ambitious culture we are building at Conifers House School.
Our Vision is Bold:
To become a recognised centre of excellence in West Sussex and beyond, where pupil wellbeing, personal development, and progress go hand in hand, and where every child feels seen, heard, valued, and successful.
We welcome parental and carer engagement at every step of the journey and are proud to say that our success will always be measured by your child’s success, happiness, and confidence.
