Welcome to Willow Class

Willow staff are excited to be welcoming students in too our classroom, on the top floor of the building, where they have access to the common room for some down time in between learning.

Our staff team are Class Teacher, Allen, and Teaching Assistant, Sam.

Our timetable gives pupils the opportunities to explore and develop skills for the future. We offer food technology, computing, creative arts and weekly Forest School activities, alongside a variety of student pathways in core subjects.

Planned off-site activities currently include horse riding and swimming, with many more opportunities within the local community also in the pipeline.

Our common room is now a very cool place to relax during indoor breaks. Our football table, which was donated by our amazing caretaker, allows pupils to develop their motor skills and learn to play fair.

A kitchen was installed, giving pupils the chance to develop their life skills – preparing drinks, snacks and lunches, washing-up, buying supplies, taking turns, and staying safe with kitchen equipment.

Our Reading Book for the Autumn Term

Our book this term is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, by Mark Haddon. The cover includes this teaser: “Fifteen-year-old Christopher has a photographic memory. He understands Maths. He understands Science. What he can’t understand are other human beings.” Interesting.
